Holistic Education Review (HER)<\/a><\/strong>
“The new Holistic Education Review (HER) is the merging of three streams of academic publications on holistic education: The Holistic Educator Newsletter (HEN), The Holistic Education Review, and Encounter: Education for Meaning and Social Justice. While merging these streams together, HER is also the birth of a new publication.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Big Picture Learning<\/a><\/strong>
“Big Picture Learning was established in 1995 with the sole mission of putting students directly at the center of their own learning. BPL co-founders Dennis Littky and Elliot Washor merged their thirty years of experience as teachers and principals and their distinct national reputations to launch this new innovation in education. With an intention to demonstrate that schooling and education can and should be radically changed, Big Picture Learning was born. <\/em>

It is our vision that all students live lives of their own design, supported by caring mentors and equitable opportunities to achieve their greatest potential. We move forward prepared to activate the power of schools, systems & education through student-directed, real-world learning. We are activists.<\/em>“<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

“The Holistic Education Initiative is a non-profit organization that works to spread and integrate the practice of holistic education by creating opportunities for people and schools to connect with one another, to learn more about holistic education, and to deepen the practice of holistic education. Our vision is a thriving network of like-minded educators and thinkers who are collaborating, reflecting and weaving the future of education by disseminating the practices and theory of holistic education far and wide.
